Christina Kreamer - Certificate of Merit

Christina graduated from Penn State, University Park in Spring 2019 with her Bachelors and Masters in Architectural Engineering. At PSU, she was involved in Women in Engineering and Engineering Ambassadors. She is a new to SWE but is excited to a part of such an established and impactful organization. Christina loves to be outside in the sun as much as possible and she is passionate about dance, working out, exploring Philly with her friends and traveling. She is especially excited to make a difference in the lives of young women engineers!
Sea Anchorage - Collegiate Liaison
Sea joined SWE her freshman year at the University of Miami, and has loved the SWE community since. She went on to attend WE16 and WE18 and take over as the chapter webmaster. After graduating with a B.S. in Computer Engineering, she moved to Philadelphia to work at Boeing as a Software Developer for the V-22 Osprey. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, crafts, and playing Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering. |

Elizabeth Rowland, PhD - Girl Scouts Chair

Elizabeth joined Philly SWE in 2013, and is entering her fifth year as the chapter’s Girl Scout Outreach Chair. She first joined SWE as a freshman at MIT, where she served as the Girl Scout Outreach Chair for four years. After completing her B.S. in Biological Engineering, she went on to earn her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at Princeton University. Elizabeth has been involved with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania since kindergarten and is a lifetime member.

Sam Schneider graduated from Drexel University with her BS and MS in Environmental Engineering in 2016. Sam first joined SWE as a freshman and held several roles including chair positions, Secretary, Vice President, and President of the Drexel section. She's excited to hold the Philly SWE Scholarship chair position for the third year. As a previous Philly SWE scholarship recipient, she knows how impactful the program can be. Sam currently works at Saint-Gobain as a process sustainability engineer on the corporate EHS & Sustainability team. She works with 130+ manufacturing sites in the US and CAN to achieve waste, water and energy reduction goals. Sam enjoys outdoor activities in her free time including hiking, running, kayaking, and reading in a hammock.

Jill joined Philadelphia SWE as Awards Chair in 2013. She
has been involved with SWE since 2004, starting as a member of the Drexel collegiate section. After obtaining her B.S. in Chemical Engineering, she started as a Development Chemist at Quaker Chemical Corporation. In 2013, she was promoted to Development Chemist II. She thoroughly enjoys developing
lubricants for her customers at steel mills, and going to the sites to see her products working in the field! When she is not traveling with work, she enjoys playing with her bunnies, gardening, arts & crafts, fixing things, volunteering, and snowboarding.
Diana joined SWE in 2012 when attending the WE12 Conference in Houston Texas. At the start of FY15 Diana accepted the position as SWE Philadelphia Newsletter Editor to become more involved with the section and its members. Diana graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2010 with her Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Engineering Mechanics. She has worked for The Boeing Company since 2009 where she started as an intern; Diana is now a P2 Structural Analyst and has experience doing structural analysis for both commercial aircraft and military aircraft programs. She has also spearheaded a company wide effort to implement a video knowledge capture and sharing resource internally to her company. Diana is local to the Philadelphia area. In her free time, Diana enjoys exercising, traveling, arts & crafts, and spending time with family, friends, and her cats.
Danielle Schroeder (she/her) - Social Media Chair

Danielle joined Philadelphia SWE as Collegiate Liaison in 2017. She is currently serving as a SWE Senator for the society. Beyond serving on the SWE Senate, Danielle has been a highly dedicated member of SWE since joining in 2012; She is a SWE Life Member, a past President of the Drexel University collegiate section, past VP of Outreach for Philadelphia SWE, and a past recipient of the SWE Outstanding Collegiate Member award. She is an Associate Bridge Engineer at Pennoni. Danielle focuses on the reconstruction and rehabilitation of bridges and other transportation-related structures. At Pennoni, Danielle serves as chair of The Network, a committee that consists of representatives from across the company who serve as a think tank and sounding board for company-wide ideas and initiatives, as well as a conduit between employees and executive management. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys watching the Philadelphia Eagles with family and friends and traveling when it is safe again to do so.
