About the Speaker

Chujiao Ma (she/her) is a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer at CVS Health, where she leads post-quantum cryptography migration efforts for application teams across the organization. With a background as a cybersecurity researcher, her work spans open-source supply chain security, data protection, and privacy engineering. She is a strong proponent of security by design and is passionate about making security simple, actionable, and accessible.

Previously a frequent speaker at industry conferences, Chujiao now focuses on advancing post-quantum cryptography adoption through industry working groups. Her work centers on translating standards and research into clear communication for senior leadership and vendors, as well as actionable guidance for engineering teams in healthcare.

Chujiao holds a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. She also holds a Privacy Engineering Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University and is a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
