SWE Philadelphia is proud to partner with Saint-Gobain Malvern, who will host a networking social on Wednesday March 6th beginning at 5:30 p.m.  We will open with networking and hors d’oeuvres, hear from speakers about career opportunities from engineering to business strategy, engage in discussion, have time for networking.  Saint-Gobain is a key supporter of SWE Philadelphia’s collegiate scholarship program, sponsoring at least 5 awards annually since 2020.  Come see their amazing facility and learn about the company’s 300+ year history while meeting fellow engineers and professionals, all at the start of Women’s History Month!  Open to SWE Philadelphia section and collegiate members. 

We are proud to have Marlee Dingle and Julianne Kerwood speak as panelists Wednesday March 6th at the Saint-Gobain & SWE Social!

Marlee Dingle currently works at the Saint-Gobain CertainTeed STONEfacade siding plant (Quakertown, PA) as a Manufacturing Engineer. Originally from Madison, WI, Marlee obtained a degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. During her 2.5 years with Saint-Gobain, Marlee has worked in multiple business units across the company including Life Sciences, Research and Development, and Siding. Outside of work, Marlee enjoys hiking, baking, and crocheting.

Julianne Kerwood currently works at Merck & Co., Inc. at the West Point, PA site as a senior engineering specialist with about 7 years’ experience supporting recombinant protein vaccine purification in the manufacturing process support labs.  Julianne is originally from Norristown, PA, and obtained her Bachelor’s in Bioengineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.  She is also pursuing her Master’s in Biochemical Engineering at Villanova University part time. While her professional experience has been focused on biopharmaceuticals, Julianne had cross-industry undergraduate research experience concerning bioproduction of quantum dots.  Outside of work, Julianne enjoys taking peloton classes, listening to music, and adding to her Pat McGrath collection.
